A busy 2006 so far

This is my first posting in the blog this year and I noticed that 2006 is more than three weeks old already. It felt like just a few days ago that we celebrated the new year. Goodness me, time really flies when you are real busy.

And real busy I was, organising a high-level government conference in collaboration with several entities as the main coordinator. My phone and handphone had only stopped ringing a couple of days ago. And my hair had since grown some white and silver hair I reckon. I was almost burned out.

The 2-day conference went well and there were more praises than complaints. This is basically due to my team, who did an outstanding job. And today, as a token of apprciation, I took them out for lunch at a 5-star hotel.

All's well with my day job but my Internet business and SBI! had suffered - not so much in terms of revenue (made more revenue in sales and affiliate programs/Google Adsense than a month ago actually), but in terms of building my sites.

Nothing was added for my SBI! site and I reckon I need at least a week before my mind can get back to building my site(s). But it was all worth it. A bit of a change perhaps. I did not touch my notebook for at least 3 days consecutively, and the past week had given me a different perspective in growing my Internet business.

The perspective that offline network is as important as online network.

For too long I had overlooked this as I drown myself in the cyber space realm. I'd decided to make this one of the main priority for me in 2006.
